Carnival Week Bakewell

Saturday 25th June to Sunday 3rd July 2022

The Bakewell Carnival is a very poplular event and draws huge crowds, both local and those visiting the amazing Bakewell and the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.

Across the week there are fun events for all the family.  The Carnival itself will take place on 2nd July 2022 at 3pm.  The doors of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants, will be flung open and if the weather’s good expect the pubs to be spilling out on to the roads.  If you’re looking for a jovial and party atmosphere this is the place to be.

Events across the week include a treasure hunt on Sunday 26th, Carnival Darts on the 27th, Carnival Football (including fancy dress) provided by Bakewell Town Football Club on the 29th.

And don’t forget, there’s plenty of interesting and quirky shops, both independent and high street brands, to explore.

The International Day of Dance happens on the first Saturday of the Bakewell Carnival Week.
