6th – 8th December 2019
Matlock Victorian Christmas Market has matured over the years and now offers a wide range of Christmas goodies. The Market is visited by thousands every year who come to buy those extra special Christmas gifts you won’t find in the shops.
The Matlock Victorian Market takes place in Matlock’s central park, known as Hall Leys Park, which is transformed by the temporary construction of a huge marquee where many trader stalls are found. Outside is a continental food market, and fair rides.
There’s a Santa’s grotto, plus you will get the chance to see Santa arrive on his horse driven sleigh at 4:15pm on Saturday evening. This is followed by the Christmas lights being switched on at 4.45pm.
Stay around until Sunday night, and you will be treated to a firework display over Matlock.
