Every year, during the first weekend in December, Matlock’s Hall Leys Park transforms into a festive wonderland for the much-loved Matlock Victorian Christmas Market.
Thousands of visitors come to enjoy the atmosphere, browse the stalls, and find those unique Christmas gifts that make the season extra special.
Set in the heart of Matlock, this traditional market features over 200 stalls selling handcrafted gifts, festive decorations, artisan food, and seasonal produce. It’s the perfect place to pick up something original while soaking in the charm of a Victorian-style Christmas celebration.
The park is brought to life with Victorian-themed décor, live entertainment, and carol singing. Expect performances from local choirs, brass bands, and street entertainers, all adding to the nostalgic festive mood.
A wide selection of food and drink stalls offer everything from hot chocolate and mulled wine to hearty winter dishes and sweet treats, ensuring there’s something to enjoy while you shop.
